Remiss

I've been very remiss in my posting of late. As you all know, we doubled the size of our family. We now have a strong triathlon team with an alternate in case Dad isn't racing fast enough. The baby Tricyclists are doing great, they are already out-pacing Mom and Dad in the important training discipline of recovery sleep. The little ones are logging a good 18-20 hours of sleep a day while Mom and Dad are happy with their 4 to 6 hours. Ahh, life is good.

We've mastered the double jog stroller, even dragging our four legged family member along for the run. Last weekend the entire squad knocked out a good 12-miler, although I think the boys slept through most of it.

I commented to a friend before the boys arrived stating "how hard could it (parenthood) be, I've done an Ironman!" When I dragged myself to work the other day and was nodding off in a mid morning meeting, she reminded me of those fateful words. Wow, what a stupid thing to say!
